Jeseníky offers a large variety of locations for leisure and discovery all year round - in summer you can make use of one of the many signposted tourist and cycle paths, or go picking mushrooms or blueberries, in winter you have the choice of dozens of ski slopes and cross country routes.

One of the most appealing summer tourist destinations is Ovčárna (1300 m), which can be reached on foot or by bike along the educational footpath Slezská way, which passes through a protected landscape area in parts. Part of the way leads through an avalanche zone so it is closed in winter. From Ovčárna there are many other paths leading to interesting places (Praděd, Švýcárna, Petrovy kameny etc.).

If you come for skiing then you are at the right place. You will not have to go any further. Directly behind the building’s car park is the first ski slope and there are others next to it. These ski slopes are prepared daily and several of them are floodlit so skiing is possible until 9 pm. If the snow conditions are bad or you are a more demanding skier then ski slopes are prepared on Ovčárna, which a Ski-bus can take you to in comfort and there is a bus stop only a few meters away from the apartments.
